Kentucky Derby 133 Race Entries & Odds

Race entries for the Kentucky Derby 133, set to run on Saturday May 5 at Churchill Downs, has been released with Curlin leading morning line odds at 7-2. The Run for the Roses is the first leg of the Triple Crown race.
Todd Pletcher, attempting to end his 0-for-14 losing skid in the Derby, will send out Any Given Saturday, Circular Quay, Cowtown Cat, Sam P. and Scat Daddy.

The Kentucky Oaks $500,000 Grade I Stakes Race is set for May 4, 2007, and caps off a splendid day of racing at Churchill Downs racetrack. The Kentucky Oaks will be televised on ESPN at 5PM ET.

1. Edgewood Stakes $150,000-added, 1 1/16 mile (turf), 3-year-old fillies
2. Grade III Alysheba Stakes $100,000-added, 1 1/16 mile, 3-year-olds and up
3. Grade III Aegon Turf Sprint $150,000-added, five furlongs, 3-year-olds and up
4. Grade II Louisville Breeders’ Cup $300,000-added, 1 1/16 mile, fillies, mares 3-year-olds and up
5. Grade III Crown Royal American Turf $150,000-added, 1 1/16 mile, 3-year-olds
