Breeders’ Cup Challenge Entries: Greenwood Cup Stakes at Philadelphia Park July 18

Six 3-year-old and up race horses will run 1 1/2 miles in Saturday’s $250,000 Greenwood Cup Stakes at Philadelphia Park July 18.
As part of the Breeders’ Cup Challenge, the Greenwood Cup Stakes winner will automatically qualify for the Breeders’ Cup Dirt Marathon on November 7 at Santa Anita Park.
Philadelphia Park’s Greenwood Cup Stakes entries with jockeys and weight:
- Luna Park under jockey J. F. Hampshire Jr. carries 114 lbs. with morning line odds of 8-1 lbs.
- Critical Acclaim under jockey R. Chiappe, 114 lbs., 12-1 lbs.
- Alcomo under jockey Willie Martinez, 114 lbs., 9-2 lbs.
- Eldaafer under jockey Clinton Potts, 122 lbs., 5-2 lbs.
- Alaazo under jockey K. Carmouche, 114 lbs., 7-2 lbs.
- Nite Light under jockey John Velazquez, 114 lbs., 9-5 lbs.
The Greenwood Cup Stakes is race 9 in Philadelphia Park’s July 18 card. Greenwood Cup post time is 3:50 pm.
