The world’s top turf horses will battle it out in the Grade I Arlington Million to highlight Chicago’s premier Thoroughbred racing day on August 12, 2006. But Arlington Racetrack guests and simulcast racing fans throughout the world also can wager on a guaranteed $1 million trifecta pool in that race. Meanwhile, the NTRA National Pick 4 is being offered Saturday, August 12, carries a $500,000 guarantee and will air live on ABC from 4:00-6:00 p.m. (ET).
It is offered in conjunction with Road to the Breeders’ Cup World Championships challenging fans to correctly select the winners of these four graded stakes:
- Grade II, $200,000 Alfred G. Vanderbilt Breeders’ Cup Handicap from Saratoga (4:16 p.m. ET)
- Grade I, $750,000 Beverly D. Stakes also from Arlington (4:42 p.m. ET)
- Grade I, $500,000 Sword Dancer Invitational Handicap from Saratoga (5:20 p.m. ET)
- Grade I, $1,000,000 Arlington Million from Arlington (5:42 p.m. ET)
The NTRA National Pick 4 has a $1.00 minimum wager amount and will be hubbed as a separate card event by Saratoga. To wager, fans should ask for “National Pick 4.”
