Saturday afternoon, filly Rachel Alexandra will make her New York debut when she puts her 6-race winning streak on the line in the 53rd running of the $300,000 Mother Goose Stakes (G1) at Belmont Park June 27.
Three-year-old fillies carrying 121 pounds racing in Belmont Park’s 1 1/8-mile Mother Goose Stakes field with jockeys line up as follows:
- Hopeful Image under jockey Edgar Prado
- Don’t Forget Gil under jockey Alan Garcia
- Rachel Alexandra under jockey Calvin Borel
- Malibu Prayer under jockey John Velazquez
- Flashing under jockey Javier Castellano
Belmont Park’s Mother Goose Stakes is race 9 in the June 27 card. Mother Goose post time is 5:17 pm.
