Norsk Risktoto and Fintoto added by International Federation of Horseracing Authorities
Posted on Wednesday, July 11th, 2007
International Federation of Horseracing Authorities has added Norsk Risktoto and Fintoto, the Norwegian and Finnish tote operators, to its Racing Trust Mark scheme and international horse racing commingling pool.
The scheme labels tote operators as authorised to offer horse bets in the countries where they are active. Swedish tote operator ATG joined in 2006.
Ilmari Halinen, managing director of Fintoto, said: ???Internet horse betting now represents more than one third of our total betting volume and brings its own challenge regarding the protection of intellectual property. With our subscription to the Racing Trust Mark, we aim to underline our rights ownership and promote the principle of authorized horse betting.???
