Discreet Cat Takes Jerome at Belmont Park

UAE Derby winner Discreet Cat maintains his perfect record after pulling off a 10-length win at Sunday’s Sunday’s $155,800 Jerome Breeders’ Cup Handicap for 3-year-olds at Belmont Park.
The time for the one-mile Jerome was 1:36.46 over a good track. Discreet earned $95,280 for his second stakes victory this year. He captured the $2 million UAE Derby in Dubai in March.
Discreet Cat returned $2.10, the minimum payoff, to win and place. Valid Notebook paid $3. There was no show wagering.
The unbeated colt is expected to make his next start in the $5 million Breeders’ Cup Classic at Churchill Downs on Nov. 4.
