Race horse trainer Greg De Gannes may have 2 Breeders’ Cup entries after his filly C Karma won by a neck in the $150,000 Natalma Stakes (G3) at Woodbine.
As a 2008 Breeders’ Cup “Win and You’re In” event, the winner of the Natalma Stakes automatically earns a position in the Breeders’ Cup field for the $1-million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf on October 24 at Santa Anita Park.
C Karma, under jockey Jono Jones, returned $11.70, $6.20 and $4.40. Freyga, ridden by jockey Justin Stein, paid $28.80 and $13. Koonunga Hill with jockey Constant Montpellier showed $6.30.

Breeders’ Cup Challenge: Natalma Stakes at Woodbine September 14

Eleven 2-year-old fillies headed by Lady Shakespeare will be racing in the $150,000 Natalma Stakes (G3) at 1 mile over the Woodbine turf course.
The Natalma Stakes is part of the 2008 Breeders’ Cup Challenge where the Natalma winner automatically becomes part of the Breeders’ Cup field for the inaugural Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf on October 24 at Santa Anita Park.
