Tapitsfly outran Rose Catherine in the stretch to win the $1-million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf by half a length Friday, November 6, at Santa Anita Park.
The 2-year-old gray filly Tapitsfly ran a mile on turf in 1:34.25 under jockey Robby Albarado paying $21.60, $8.60 and $6 at 9-1 odds. Rose Catherine returned $6.80 and $5.80, while House of Grace was another 3 lengths back in third and paid $5 to show.
