Pussycat Doll wins Audrey S. Kenis Stakes

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) — Trainer Bob Baffert’s heavily favored Pussycat Doll romped to a 6 1/4 -length win Sunday in the $72,150 Audrey S. Kenis Stakes at Hollywood Park.
Ridden by Garrett Gomez, Pussycat Doll took the lead at the half-mile pole and finished the 1 1-16 miles in 1:42.
Pussycat Doll carried 120 pounds and paid $3.20, $2.60 and $2.10. Skipping Court returned $4.80 and $2.10, and A Classic Life paid $2.10 to show.
A 3-year-old daughter of Baffert’s 1998 Kentucky Derby winner Real Quiet, Pussycat Doll won for the third time in seven starts for owner Mike Pegram. She earned $44,150 to increase her career earnings to $170,823.
Note: Hollywood Park cancelled all races on the turf surface for this meet.
