Spooky Mulder wins at Aqueduct

NEW YORK (AP) — Spooky Mulder beat Potrisunrise by a neck in Thursday’s $49,000 allowance optional claiming feature for horses 3 and older at Aqueduct.
Ridden by Orlando Mojica, Spooky Mulder covered six furlongs in 1:10.13 over the fast track and paid $10.60, $4.10 and $2.70. Potrisunrise paid $3 and $2.60, while Stonewood paid $2.80 to show.
The 7-year-old Brunswick gelding won for the fourth time in 12 starts this year, earning $27,600 for Bruce Golden and Ben Mondello.
